About The Event
Take home canvas, write your own song/verse/lyric, engage with one or many of your archetypes in Theatre exercises and learn the foundations of Movement Medicine to deepen emotional experiences to a physical sensation and expansive (healing potency) level.
We will engage the Senses through the Arts (visual art, theatre, music, movement and poetry) and wake up our Kundalini through Breath, Movement and Vibrational Sound. The content of the work we create together will be drawn from personal life experiences. Everything worked on in the workshop will be created live in the workshop from an improvisational space. Please oh please, really... please oh please, do not come prepared with art concepts, poems, raps nor songs.
This is a time to practice Harnessing our Receptivity as well as Projecting our Creative Power and Passion. Be prepared to express and actively participate with others-- You will meet the Sacred Muse and be called to challenge the parts/personalities/dynamics that have been waiting and wanting to come out and PLAY-- well the invitation in right here beloved!! Register and accept the call.
Come play, take off the mask, take off the armor, soften the edges in a safe place to explore the seat of creativity within You.
As you explore and share from this place you will feel the charge of inspiring others to do the same and the exchange and momentum builds from there.
Bring a journal and any items (pictures, symbols, jewelry, stones, etc.) that you would like to add to the altar space to be charged. Bring any representations of divine forces that you wish to ignite and invite through. Kirti Srivastava often times teaches and guides alongside her own mentors and teachers. They generously volunteer their time to co facilitate, collaborate and drum to accompany the process. There will always be a "donations" vessel to support those who volunteer their teaching and performing time. Please consider bringing cash to make donations that can be blessed immediately in the altar and then dispersed among the drummers and other supporting teachers and guides the day of the workshop.
